BRASHER -- Homecoming weekend at St. Lawrence Central School will kick off Thursday, Sept. 19 with “Celebrity Tip Night” at The Riverview, with other highlights to include soccer games, hall of fame awards, and an “after glow” dinner.
Emcee Chris Normile will entertain and school coaches will wait tables.
An open house at both the elementary and high school buildings will be available as well.
Friday, Sept. 20 the St. Lawrence Central girls’ soccer team will host the St. Regis Falls team at 4:30 p.m. The entry fee will be $1, with proceeds to support the athletics program.
The Hall of Fame awards will be given out Friday at 6:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
Saturday morning will kick off with a tailgate in the bus garage parking lot. Set up a grill and some music for $5.
The boys’ soccer game against Canton will be at 11 a.m. at the varsity field.
The varsity football kick off will be at 1:30 p.m. against rival Massena. Massena fans are welcome to tailgate.
Prizes, including “Larrie Spirit Wear” will be offered.
No entry fee will apply for tailgaters, with a $1 fee for non-tailgaters.
The weekend will wrap up with an “after glow” dinner at the Riverview.
