BRASHER FALLS -- St. Lawrence Central High School Drama Club seeks Alcoa employees to take part in the ACTION Grant activity on Jan. 24, from 4:30-8:30 p.m. in the school auditorium.
The ACTION (Alcoans Coming Together in Our Neighborhoods) Grant from the Alcoa Foundation encourages Alcoa employees to volunteer for a community service project.
If at least 10 Alcoa employees participate and put in at least four hours of volunteer time, the Alcoa Foundation matches the volunteer effort with a $3,000 grant.
The club will use the grant to fund spring productions.
Those wanting to volunteer can sign up at Alcoa and come ready to build and paint.
