POTSDAM – The St. Lawrence Arts Council will host a self-guided walking tour Oct. 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. around Potsdam-based businesses hosting new exhibits of local artwork.
The walk will give community members a chance to meet artists and see how the walls of everyday businesses and restaurants have been turned into gallery spaces through the Community Gallery Project.
The tour includes over 10 sites around Potsdam.
The sites are marked by bright yellow signs with the “Community Gallery Project” logo.
Many of the exhibits will be on display through the end of the year and all the artwork is available for purchase through SLC Arts.
For a full list of exhibit sites contact 265-6860 or visit www.slcartscouncil.org.
