CANTON – The theme of the St. Lawrence Child Care Council’s fall conference Saturday, Oct. 17 at SUNY Canton is “The Power of One.”
“All it takes is one person to create an atmosphere of change,” says the brochure describing the program.
Three presenters are featured.
Frank Pastizzo has en eclectic background including high school teaching, acting and health care administration, who will speak about bringing the best qualities of family into schools, businesses and organizations.
Jesse Saperstein is a leader of the anti-bullying movement. He has Asperger’s syndrome and is an autism advocate.
Assemblywoman Addie Russell, D-Theresa, chairs the Assembly’s Task Force on Food, Farm, and Nutrition Policy and other task forces.
Registration for the session and breakfast are from 7:45 to 8:30 a.m. in the Miller Campus Center, followed .
Sessions with speakers are throughout the morning, followed by Assemblywoman Russell’s remarks at 12:15.
