OGDENSBURG -- St. Joseph’s Foundation’s 6th Annual Golf Ball Drop is set for Saturday, Aug. 27 at Father Martin Field, Paterson Street.
Numbered golf balls will be dropped from Frank Richardson’s helicopter at 1 p.m. The holder of the number of the ball closest to the pin will win $1,000.
There is also a chipping contest from 150 yards from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. three balls cost $5. The winner gets half the pot.
There will also be helicopter rides at $20 per person. It is limited to 20 people.
Numbered golf balls are $5 for a chance to win:
• $1,000 first prize, sponsored by St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union
• $200 second prize, Sponsored by Carlisle Law Firm
• $100 third prize, Sponsored by St. Joseph’s Recreation Committee
