OGDENSBURG -- The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce’s Sportsman’s Show will be Saturday, April 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the E. A. Newell Golden Dome.
At last report, 42 vendors news and returning were signed up, which would make it the largest show in the chamber’s history.
The show features the popular rifle raffle as well as a hunting dog demonstration by Ken Tynon of River Valley Gun Dog Club, a game call demonstration by Jordan Lamay of JR Game Calls, a video and lecture by Adirondack Bow Hunters, and a chainsaw carving demonstration by Terry McKendry. North Country angler Don Meissner will be representing FISHCAP. Q Country, YES FM and PAC 98.7 will be doing live broadcasts from the show all day.
A wide range of vendors includes hunting and fishing boats, ATV’s and ATV apparel, campers, sports equipment and memorabilia, fishing rods and lures, decoys, game calls, country & wildlife themed crafts and decor, maple products, jerky rubs, many raffles and refreshments.
Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for current military members with ID; family rate is $12; kids under 10 get in for free.
