POTSDAM – The third SpiritFest will be held Saturday, Sept. 23, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., in Ives Park.

The free event will feature local Reiki practitioners who will converge in the park along the Raquette River to offer their services free of charge to the Potsdam and North Country community.

Various vendors and new age practitioners will have informational booths and tables set up, including Tarot 101, various tarot and angel card readers, henna tattoo, tapping for emotional and stress release, a smudging station and crystal soundbath meditation.

The gazebo in the park will host a belly dancing performance by Veils of the Nile from 1-1:45 p.m.

A question and answer workshop with psychic medium Claire Babich will be held from 2-3 p.m.

New this year, the SpiritFest will offer various vendors ranging from crystal and wire-wrapped jewelry to screenprinted t-shirts and fairy and elf dolls.
