POTSDAM – Lamar Bliss and a group of enthusiasts who spin yarn from sheep’s wool will demonstrate their skills at the Potsdam Museum Saturday, Nov. 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This demonstration is part of the spinning and weaving exhibition currently on view at the museum. On view now is an assortment of spinning wheels, looms and tools used by the first settlers in the area to make blankets, sheets and warm clothing for survival in our North Country winters.
The museum is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
The event is free and refreshments will be served.
