CANTON -- SUNY Canton will host the Special Olympics New York North Country Region annual Summer Games on Saturday, May 3.
The event features 175 athletes participating in track, field and basketball events.
Opening Ceremonies begin at 9:45 a.m. in the Roos House with competitions starting immediately afterwards.
More than 80 coaches and volunteers have worked with the athletes to prepare for these competitions.
Over 200 Community and SUNY Canton student volunteers are expected to help out for the day.
