POTSDAM -- The St. Lawrence County Arts Council, Snell Hall, 41 Elm St., will offer the class Special Arts for Special Needs: Potsdam Integrated Elementary Music & Art, Monday, Feb. 6, from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
This inclusive group for 5- to 9-year-olds with disabilities, their family, and friends, provides an opportunity for music and arts exploration in a supportive group environment.
Children are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities including singing, movement, dancing, playing instruments, creating, painting, and other arts exploration designed to stimulate the senses, encourage creativity and increase socialization.
Music and arts programs have a long track record for success in building communication skills, increasing confidence, and improving overall well-being among participants.

The cost for the class is $10.
