AKWESASNE -- Grammy award-winning southern blues rock act The Kentucky Headhunters will perform at the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino on March 17.
The band includes lead guitarist Greg Martin, bassist Doug Phelps, drummer Fred Young and rhythm guitarist Richard Young.
Martin and the Youngs have performed with the band since 1968.
They have released 10 albums. Their most recent, 2015’s “Meet Me in Bluesland,” included late pianist Johnnie Johnson, a member of the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame who also performed with Chuck Berry.
