POTSDAM – A car wash and recyclable can drive to benefit Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley and the Camp for Grieving Children is 10 a.m. to noon Saturday April 21, sponsored by Omega Delta Phi Sorority, 51 Elm St.
Part of Clean up Potsdam Day, members give residents a chance to donate recyclable beverage containers and have their vehicles washed for a $2 donation. Containers bagged in clear plastic may be dropped off at 51 Elm Street through 11 a.m. on April 21.
Pick up of bagged containers on Saturday may be arranged within village limits by contacting Amanda Ursillo at (518) 491-7482 by 4 p.m. on Friday, April 20.
Omega Delta Phi is celebrating 50 years of being an active part of SUNY Potsdam and Clarkson University and the Village of Potsdam, with an alumni base of over 800 women.
