POTSDAM -- The St. Lawrence County Office for the Aging; in coordination with the St. Lawrence County Council of Senior Citizens, will host a “Smart Seniors: Smart Investors” presentation.
The event will be held Thursday, Aug. 13, from 10 until 11 a.m. at the Potsdam American Legion, 128 State Highway 345.
Attendees will learn about the warning signs of fraud and scams, how to avoid becoming a victim, and how to get help if you’ve been victimized.
Alicia Lendon from the Watertown Regional Office of the NYS Attorney General will be the guest speaker.
Admission is free.
