‘Small Business Saturday’ in Rensselaer Falls to be held Nov. 30

RENSSELAER FALLS – ‘Small Business Saturday” will be held Nov. 30 and run through the first week in December and feature several local retailers.

Participating shops include Susan Stitches, McAllister’s Liquors and Wine, Ladies First Gallery and Chapin’s Market. Ladies First Gallery in Morrison Mill, 208 Front St., will host an open house and gallery sale Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Dec. 8 from noon to 4 p.m. Pottery, prints, painting, jewelry, and more are available in the gallery.

Guest artists are scheduled to display their wares.

Refreshments will be available and there will be a 15 percent off sale on selected items.

Susan’s Stitches on Rensselaer Street features quilt fabric and a fine selection of fibers, notions, knitting needles, and classes.

They will also have refreshments and a raffle. Susan’s Stitches is open on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed Sunday.

Across the street McAllister’s Liquors and Wine will be open throughout the week and feature’s a variety of local wines.

A weekly special of 10 percent off wine on run through Dec. 7.
