CANTON -- Grasse River Outfitters, 45 Main St., will host Appalachian Trail thru hiker, Cara Griffith Saturday, Nov. 9, from 12-1 p.m., as part of the ‘Notes from the Trail’ series. At 19 years old, she hiked the 2,200-mile trail from Georgia to Maine before coming to St. Lawrence.
Griffith will also help people “shake down” and sort through their hiking gear.
