CANTON -- St. Lawrence University will hold its 11th gospel concert “Got Spirit?” at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, in Gulick Theatre.
Admission is free.
The concert features the Gospel Workshop Choir led by Rev. Shaun Whitehead and guest workshop leader Mario Vaughn of the Grammy-nominated Chicago Mass Choir.
There will be a tribute to the late William Hamilton, who led the workshop choir for 10 years.
Those interested in joining the Gospel Workshop Choir have an opportunity to take part in a series of practice sessions leading up to the concert.
The workshops will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Feb. 18, 19, and 20, and again from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21.
The fee is $5.
