CANTON -- St. Lawrence University will host instrumentalists Kyle Tupper and Friends from 8 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 18, in Peterson-Kermani Performance Hall. The event is free.
The director of the University Wind Ensemble and a private lesson instructor, Canton-native Tupper will perform various styles of jazz, funk jazz and R&B. A singer as well as jazz pianist and drummer, Tupper has performed with the Radio Bob Band, Two Man View, The 5th Edition, Out of the Blue, The Jazzoholics and the Seba Molnar Quartet. Guest performers will include Bill Vitek, Dan Gagliardi, Jon Dufore, Michael Farley and Tim Savage.
Tupper is a graduate of Shenendehowa High School and the State University of New York College at Potsdam’s Crane School of Music teacher education program. He resides in Canton.
