CANTON — Grasse River Outfitters will host Appalachian Trail thru hiker, Cara Griffith on Saturday, Nov. 9, as part of the 'Notes from the Trail' series.
Griffith, a senior at St. Lawrence University will share stories, pictures, and advice from her 2016 solo thru hike of the Appalachian Trail. At 19 years old, she hiked the 2,200-mile trail from Georgia to Maine before coming to St. Lawrence.
Griffith will be sharing stories, photos, and helping people ‘shake down’ and sort through their hiking gear at Grasse River Outfitters, located at 45 Main St. in Canton, on Nov. 9 from noon to 1 p.m.
