CANTON - Family Weekend will be celebrated Sept. 21 through 23 at St. Lawrence University, with a variety of academic, social and entertainment events planned for students and their families. Among the weekend's highlights are tours and open houses in campus facilities and a variety of programs; a reception hosted by President William Fox and his wife, Lynn, at their home, MacAllaster House; an alumni career panel; ceremonies to induct new members into Omicron Delta Kappa leadership honorary society and Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society; a reception for honor students and their families, with presentations by student researchers; a concert by the Laurentian Singers; faculty and staff presentations and workshops; information sessions; and the Remington 5K run/walk. The schedule incorporates events in the Remington Arts Festival, taking place the same weekend in Canton.
