CANTON -- St. Lawrence’s University Chorus will perform its fall concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at Gouverneur High School and again at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, at St. Lawrence’s Peterson-Kermani Performance Hall.
Both performances are free, handicap accessible and open to the public.
The concerts will be performed in honor of St. Cecilia, the patron saint of music, whose name day is associated with Nov. 22.
The songs will feature a series of vocal soloists from the University Chorus. The singers will also be accompanied by an orchestra of student and professional players from St. Lawrence University and SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music. The players include St. Lawrence’s string orchestra director Christian Hosmer on cello and wind ensemble and director Kyle Tupper on tympani.
