CANTON -- The Society of American Military Engineers, the VFW and the Wounded Warrior Project will host a sled hockey tournament March 15 and 16 at the SUNY Canton Roos House.
Participating teams will include the “WTU Wounded Warriors” of Fort Drum, the “Syracuse CNY Flyers,” the “Albany Capital District Warriors” and the “Ottawa Valley Falcons.”
The competitions will be March 15 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m. and March 16 from 9 to 10:30 a.m., 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., 3 to 4:30 p.m. and 5 to 6:30 p.m.
A 50/50 raffle, a chuck-a-puck game and a silent auction will be featured.
All donations will benefit the Warriors in Transition Unit, Fort Drum.
