CANTON -- Learn about John Reardon, a soldier in the 115th NY Volunteer Regiment, who kept a diary chronicling his experiences in the fight at Darbytown Road in the autumn of 1864.
The discussion will be led by Jan Wojcik at the next SLCHA Civil War Roundtable on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 2 p.m. at the St. Lawrence County Historical Association at the Silas Wright House, 3 East Main St.
The North Country Civil War Roundtable is part of the St. Lawrence County Historical Association’s Commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, which was fought from 1861-1865.
Jan Wojcik is a member of the North Country Civil War Roundtable and has recently presented on the Battle of Spotsylvania Court House.
