SLC Arts to hold fourth Art Market Saturday to celebrate Small Business Saturday

POTSDAM – SLC Arts will celebrate Small Business Saturday with its fourth Art Market Saturday, Nov. 25, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Local artists will display and sell their original artwork and fine handcrafts at the Potsdam Town Hall, 18 Elm St. The event is open to everyone, and is wheelchair accessible.

Seven local artists applied to and were accepted by SLC Arts to show and sell their work during this Art Market event.

Christina Adams of "Blue Frenzy Art" from Canton will sell her melted recycled glass jewelry and paintings.

Nancey Brackett of "My Corner Studio" from Canton will sell her silver jewelry and stone inlay.

Virginia Burnett of "Goblins' Market" from Winthrop will sell hand-dyed scarves and beaded jewelry.

Susan Langley of "Second Chances" from Waddington will sell her handmade assorted vintage market bags, weekender totes and zippered clutches.

Kathy Montan of "Foothills Farm" from Canton will sell felted wool pictures and notecards.

Sabrina Myers of "The Mud Maiden" from Gouverneur will sell her hand-built pottery/ceramics.

Andrew Norrell of Potsdam will sell his pottery, including ornaments and casserole dishes, and paintings.

Small Business Saturday is a nation-wide event. The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce coordinates small businesses in Potsdam for it.
