POTSDAM -- The St. Lawrence County Arts Council is offering three different beginning ballroom dance classes.
Instructor Todd Moe will teach couples how to waltz, foxtrot, and rhumba in September. All classes are held at Downtown Snell Hall in Potsdam. If you attend, you are asked to wear soft-soled shoes.
Contact the SLC Arts Council to register and pre-pay for classes at 265-6860 or www.slcartscouncil.org. When you register for a class through the Arts Council website, you have the option to pay on-line.
• Waltz Workshop for Couples, Friday, Sept. 16, 7 to 8:30 p.m. Bring a partner and join Todd Moe for this Friday evening waltzing workshop. $20 per couple.
• Foxtrot Workshop for Couples, Friday, Sept. 23, 7 to 8:30 p.m. Learn some vintage moves for the dance floor. $20 per couple.
• Rhumba Workshop for Couples with Todd Moe, Friday, Sept. 30, 7 to 8:30 p.m. Learn how Cuban dance rhythms and movements can add spice to your life. $20 per couple.
