POTSDAM -- The SLC Arts Council, 41 Elm St., will host two 12-week dance classes led by instructor Heather Knack on Thursday evenings from Sept. 1 through Nov. 17.
Adult Tap will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and cover the fundamentals of tap dancing while also challenging participants with new skills.
No experience is necessary and participants are required to bring their own shoes.
Adult Dance will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. and focus mostly on jazz and lyrical styles of dance in a relaxed atmosphere.
A short routine or two will be covered each week and no experience is necessary.
Registration and payment of $114 for members or $144 for non-members are required.
