POTSDAM – SLC Arts will celebrate Small Business Saturday on Nov. 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with their 5th annual Art Market.
Local artists will display and sell their original artwork and fine handcrafts at the Potsdam Town Hall, 18 Elm St.
The event is open to everyone, and is wheelchair accessible.
Ten artists applied and were accepted by SLC Arts to show and sell their work during this Art Market event.
Nancey Brackett of My Corner Studio from Canton will sell her silver jewelry and stone inlay.
Virginia Burnett of Goblins' Market from Winthrop will sell hand dyed scarves and beaded jewelry.
Liz Halpen of Edward M. Basta Woodcrafts in Ogdensburg will sell Ed’s handcrafted one of a kind wood base oil lamps, clocks and poured art.
Shelly Hazen of Boonies Photography & Art in Moira will sell her photography and drawings.
Heron Hetzler of Heron Art in Potsdam will sell her mixed media collages and jewelry.
Susan Langley of Second Chances from Waddington will sell her handmade assorted vintage market bags, weekender totes, and zippered clutches.
Lorraine McCoy of From the Heart Lorraine McCoy in Norfolk will sell her digital landscape and nature photos, which are professionally printed on glass.
Kathy Montan of Foothills Farm from Canton will sell felted wool pictures and notecards.
Andrew Norrell of Andrew Thomas Studio in Hannawa Falls will be selling his pottery, including ornaments and casserole dishes, and paintings.
Judith Utter Natural Science Artist in Canton will sell images of her original watercolors, including botanicals, fish, birds and other nature subjects, printed on a variety of items.
Small Business Saturday is an annual nation-wide event; the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce coordinates small businesses in Potsdam for this event.
