MASSENA -- The Massena Senior Citizens Club will present an assortment of events at the Massena Community Center, 61 Beach St., throughout the month of October.
The schedule is as follows:
Wednesday, Oct. 12:
11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Jerry Loch, New York State Energy Research & Development Authority presentation.
1:30 to 2:15 p.m.; Local 2220 permanent firefighters demonstrations and safety for fire prevention week.
A membership meeting will follow the presentation.
Saturday, Oct. 15:
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Annual Fall Bazaar; bake sale, 50/50 raffle, silent auction, flea market, soup and sandwiches served for lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Monday, Oct. 17:
11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Flu shot clinic sponsored by Walgreens Massena.
Thursday, Oct. 20:
4 p.m.; Bingo.
5:30 p.m.; Dinner featuring meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, fruit cocktail, bread and dessert, $8, tickets: 769-7810.
Saturday, Oct. 22:
6 to 10 p.m.; Dance.
Wednesday, Oct. 26:
4:30 to 6:30 p.m.; Spaghetti and meatballs dinner to benefit the Massena Seniors Trip Committee, tickets: $8 in office or $9 at the door.
