POTSDAM — “Skate With a Knight” will be held Monday Cheel Arena to celebrate the Clarkson University women and men’s hockey seasons.
The event is slated for 6 p.m.
Clarkson solidified its spot as the leading team in NCAA Division I women's hockey on March 18 in Minneapolis, MN by defeating ECAC Hockey rival Colgate 2-1 in overtime in the 2018 National Championship game at Ridder Arena.
Winners of back-to-back Frozen Four titles and with three National Championships in the last five years, the Golden Knights have secured a place among the most dominant programs in the history of college women's hockey.
The best season in 10 years for the Golden Knight Men came to a close on Friday night at the NCAA East Regional in Bridgeport, CT.
Clarkson, which made its first showing in the NCAA Tournament since 2008, closed out the 2017-18 campaign with a 23-11-6 record.
The Green and Gold also became the first ECAC Hockey team to win the Friendship Four tournament in Belfast, Northern Ireland and were runner-ups at the league championship tournament in Lake Placid.
All are welcome to skate with players, as well as get pictures and autographs.
