HANNAWA FALLS -- GardenShare will host their sixth fundraiser dinner June 9 at Jakes on the Water starting with a cocktail hour at 5:30 p.m.
"We are excited about holding our dinner at this new venue in 2015 because of Jake's commitment to local farmers and using local ingredients in their menu,” GardenShare Executive Director Gloria McAdam said.
The meal will be served at 6:30 p.m. featuring locally sourced ingredients prepared by chef Josh Taillon.
"This is a challenging time of year to create a menu of all locally sourced food in the North Country, but all of us working on this event found our mouths watering as we read Chef Taillon's menu," she said.
The Presenting Sponsor is the St. Lawrence County Health Initiative. Partnership sponsors are Green Hammer Construction, North Country Savings Bank, SeaComm Federal Credit Union, and Stauffer Farms. Friend sponsor is Save-a-Lot.
Tickets are $75 per person and can be purchased at www.gardenshare.org or by calling 261-8054. Proceeds from tickets, sponsorships, and a silent auction support GardenShare's work to help solve hunger problems in St. Lawrence County.
