Six-week strength and toning exercise class starts in Canton Oct. 28

CANTON -- A new 6-week session of strengthening and toning exercise class will begin Tuesday, Oct. 28 and continue through Thursday, Dec. 11.

Classes are held Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 8 a.m. in the St. Lawrence University fitness center multi-purpose room and taught by certified fitness instructor Teresa Stone.

No classes will be held the week of Thanksgiving.

The weight bearing exercises are designed to strengthen muscles, create definition and tone, improve bone density and help balance and stability by focusing on core muscles.

All equipment is provided and participants do not need to be a member of the fitness center to participate.

The fee is $48.
