WADDINGTON – The band Six Foot Midget is the next performer in the Waddington Summer Concert Series. The well-known local group will play in conjunction with the Homecoming Main Street Block Party on Friday, Aug. 3 from 6:30-10:30 p.m.

Six Foot Midget is one of the premiere party bands in the North Country, said a press release from series organizers.

SFM is known for playing the “guilty pleasure” songs from the 80’s and the standards that keep the crowd dancing all night long, the press release said.

The current line-up includes founding members Ben Todd (vocals, guitar) and Scott Colby (drums, vocals), along with current additions Matt Gayle (bass and vocals) and Bill “Tracer” Tracy (lead guitar and vocals).

SFM has been a fixture on the local pub scene and is very busy playing weddings, parties and festivals.

Sponsors of this concert include the Dan Rose Memorial Golf Tournament and the St Lawrence Recreation and Homecoming Committee.

The concert will be held at Island View Park Pavilion, at the bottom of Main Street, rain or shine. Bring a chair, or blanket and bring your friends. Walk, drive or watch from your boat on the beautiful St. Lawrence River.

All concerts are free, but donations are welcome to help with future concerts.
