CANTON -- St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES will host a free teaching assistant and substitute job fair on Oct. 10 at 9:30 a.m.
Anyone pursuing a job as a teaching assistant can attend.
BOCES T.A.'s will be onhand to talk about the job.
Certification experts will discuss the certification process and how to start applying.
There will be representatives from agencies that can help offset the cost of certification.
BOCES says attendees should have a high school diploma or GED, like working with children and think they may enjoy a career in education.
