OGDENSBURG -- The Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce will host their Polar Bear Plunge to benefit the Ogdensburg Volunteer Rescue Squad and the chamber on Feb. 14.
Those taking the plunge will get sponsorships from people or businesses, on the condition that they actually go in the water.
The person or team with the most pledges gets a $500 prize.
The event will take place at 1 p.m. at the Dobisky Visitors Center.
It will also include prizes for costumes and photo opportunities.
Food and drinks will be available.
