OGDENSBURG -- St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union will hold the second annual community “shred day” Saturday, Oct. 12 from 9 a.m. to noon at 800 Commerce Park.
“ID theft is an ongoing problem across the country, our goal is to create a convenient way for our community to safely dispose of invoices, tax returns, paycheck stubs and other personal documents. We urge the Ogdensburg community to join the fight against identity theft by participating in this event,” said St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union CEO Todd Mashaw.
Shred-It provides a mobile shredding truck on-site to securely and efficiently destroy confidential information.
Three-ring binders or hanging files are not allowed. Containers used to transport documents will be returned.
