POTSDAM — The St. Lawrence County Chapter AARP 2831 is hosting a free public workshop titled “Should We Burn the Boats? A Story About Advocacy and Change,” Wednesday, Feb. 22, from 3:30-5 p.m.
The workshop, presented by Carol Kissam and Dan Davis, will be held at the Town Office Community Room, 18 Elm St.
The workshop will explore understanding advocacy and change and a broadening of personal perspective through interactive role plays and hands-on activities that promote diversity, decision making, management, negotiation, and communication -- tools that are needed for effective advocacy of self and groups.
This is the second of several workshops planned for 2017.
