CANTON -- Cornell Cooperative Extension, 2043B St. Hwy. 68, will hold two programs as part of the 2014 NNY Spring Sheep and Goat Week that runs April 8 though 17.
An adult-level program with veterinarian Carolyn Pierce and CCE Livestock Specialist Betsy Hodge will be held April 9 at 7 p.m. Activities included “CSI Sheep and Goat: Health from the Inside Out” that includes learning how to do a basic necropsy. Register with Betsy at 379-9192.
A youth-level program will be offered April 16 at 1 p.m. and includes activities such as body condition screening, scoring, grading, conducting a physical exam, working with a veterinarian, showing and more. Register at 379-9192 with Amy Sands.
