On Sept. 16, anyone can take unwanted medications for free disposal to Gouverneur Hospital, 77 W. Barney St.
There is no limit on the number or type of medications that can be dropped off.
Last month, more than 150 pounds of pills were turned in at a similar event in Ogdensburg.
St. Lawrence County residents can bring medication for disposal at any time to the Public Safety Building, 48 Court St., Canton or the Massena Village Police station, 60 Main St., Massena.
