Make A Wish is the well known organization that tries to grant wishes for very ill children. The Double H Ranch, in Lake Luzerne, N.Y., provides free specialized programs and year-round support for children and their families dealing with life-threatening illnesses. With support from local businesses and the community, the “Shawna’s Wishes” group has raised over $42,000 to date to grant wishes to children within St. Lawrence County. Shawna is thrilled this year to extend the generosity to the Double H Ranch where her family has visited many times. Shawna and her family hope to raise $10,000 this year, and are asking for help in meeting the goal.
