CANTON – Around this time of year children and adults alike often find themselves thinking about things that are scary to them. The Unitarian Universalist Church invites everyone to an early Halloween exploration of fear at a service called "Life Doesn't Frighten Me," on Sunday, Oct. 30, at 10:30 a.m.
The intergenerational service, led by the congregation’s minister, the Reverend David S. Blanchard, and Jan Hutslar, the director of religious education, will include a unique rendering of the story "The Monster Under My Bed,” presented by adults and children. During the service a pumpkin monster will be created out of the fears everyone has overcome.
Music for the service will be provided by church members Todd Moe, Gretchen Koehler, and Doug Rubio, and by the church choir.
Children and youth of all ages are invited to participate in this Sunday’s service; childcare is also available in the church nursery.
