CANTON -- The 24th “Seniorama” health and information fair will return Wednesday, Aug. 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at SUNY Canton’s Roos House from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with dozens of vendors, live music, and door prizes.
Admission is free. There will be tables from vendors representing county agencies, hospitals, insurance companies, nursing home, non-profit groups, Hospice, senior clubs, public utilities, home care, businesses, bans, medical officers and support services.
There will be an opening ceremony at 10 a.m. and live music from Time Line will start at 10:30 a.m. The State will perform from 1 to 3 p.m.
Door prizes will be given out throughout the day.
A snack bar will be open all day.
A shuttle bus will take people from the main parking lot to the building.
There is a parking lot behind the building that will be reserved for handicapped, with an elevator to the main floor.
The campus is located onto State Highway 68. Turn onto the campus at the light and follow the signs.
The event is sponsored by New York Statewide Senior Action Council’s North Country Chapter.
