POTSDAM — The public is invited to send the Clarkson University Golden Knights women’s hockey team off to the Frozen Four at a gathering March 14 at 10:45 a.m. near the Knight statue at the Cheel Campus Center main entrance.
Following an overtime victory against Mercyhurst in the quarterfinals, the women’s hockey team will make its fourth appearance in the Frozen Four.
Clarkson will face off against Ohio State in the semi-final round Friday, March 16, at 5 p.m.
Wisconsin and Colgate battle in the second semifinal game at 8 p.m. Winners of the semifinals will play for the 2018 NCAA Division I Women's Championship on Sunday, March 18, with the puck dropping at 3 p.m.
The 2018 Frozen Four is hosted at the Ridder Arena in Minneapolis, MN, by the University of Minnesota.
Clarkson's red carpet arrival is at Ridder Arena around 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 16.
All Clarkson fans can attend a post-game party immediately after the game (approximately 6:30 p.m.) at Blarney’s Pub & Grill, 412 14th Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414. Walk-ins welcome. Tickets are $15 per person. Contact Rachael Matejcik at rmatejci@clarkson.edu or 315-268-6467 for info.
Clarkson ticket sales will end Wednesday, March 14, at 10 a.m. Purchase tickets online at http://cuonline.clarkson.edu/ncaa2018. Clarkson tickets are located in Section 11.
Friday's and Sunday’s games will be televised live on the Big 10 Network. The NCAA Championship game is Sunday at 3 p.m. (EDT).
