POTSDAM -- The Northern New York Library Network will hold a seminar on how to search and utilize the New York State Historic Newspapers website.
The seminar will be held at the NNYLN Meeting Room Dec. 22 at 1 p.m. and will last until 2:30 pm.
The instructor for the seminar will be Eric Alan, the Regional Services Librarian at NNYLN. He will explain the history behind the website, search strategies, and specific genealogical and personal name search methods.
The class is free but registration is required at http://nnyln.org/classes/.
