POTSDAM – Semi-professional wrestling comes to Potsdam's Pine Street Arena Sept. 14 at 6 p.m.
The headline act is "Stronger Than Death" Matt Hardy.
Squared Circle Wrestling (2CW) is independent and based in Syracuse. Since they began in 2006, they have held events in Syracuse, Utica, Rochester, Watertown, Oswego, Amsterdam, and Binghamton. They utilize local talent and they bring in regional and national workers to round out the roster.
2CW is also known for their very vocal and supportive fanbase, referred to as “The 2CW faithful.” For over a year 2CW was involved with the NWA Upstate “feud” that featured several big matches and crazy brawls including sparking a mini-riot in Binghamton.
2CW says it has taken the opportunity to bring Professional Wrestling back to a forgotten region of New York State.
