CANTON -- Seaway Youth for Christ will hold their 43rd Walk for Youth on June 14. Registration is at 9 a.m. and the walk begins at 9:30 a.m. Funds raised will provide programming and free events for junior and senior high school students.
Partiipants can walk, run, bike, rollerblade or push a stroller on the 3.31-mile paved Remington Recreation Trail surrounding the Partridge Run Golf Course in Canton. Water will be available throughout the trail. Following the walk, there will be refreshments, free frozen treats, face painting, crafts for kids, drawings for door prizes and more.
Those collecting at least $25 in sponsors will receive a free t-shirt. Walk-ins welcomed day-of.
The family rate is $25, plus an additional $6 for each walk-a-thon t-shirt desired.
