AKWESASNE -- The Seaway Valley Venom semi-pro football team will host a pool tournament Nov. 20 at the Brass Horse from 5 p.m. to midnight.
The winner will receive a cash prize.
Entry fee is $25.
There will also be a liquor basket raffle and 50/50 drawing. Winners must be present.
All proceeds raised will help the team purchase equipment and defray other expenses.
Businesses can sponsor tables. For $100, they will get a two-foot-by-eight-foot banner on a table.
The team will also host a membership drive at the event. They seek players at least 18 years old and out of high school.
