OGDENSBURG -- The October 2017 Recovery Coach Academy offered by Seaway Valley Prevention Council will be held Thursday, Oct. 5, Friday, Oct. 6, Thursday, Oct. 12, and Friday, Oct. 13, from 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. each day.
This training will be offered at Seaway Valley Prevention Council, 206 Ford Street Suite 301.
CCAR Recovery Coach Academy is a 4-day training that focuses on providing individuals with the skills needed to guide, mentor and support anyone who would like to enter into or sustain long-term recovery from an addiction to alcohol or other drugs.
Peers, volunteers working with people in recovery, family members, and allies are welcome. Recovery coaching is not a clinical role.
