POTSDAM -- Individual event tickets will be on sale beginning Wednesday, Aug. 15 for Community Performance Series' 2012-2013 "Meet the Arts" and "Guest Artist Series" seasons. Audiences will enjoy professional grade performances at low prices from $5 to $50. Individual rates are available for purchase online or by calling the CPS Box Office.
Audience members have options for any budget. Ticketing rates are available at student/youth, senior, adult pricing levels on a per event basis.
In addition to single ticket options, season tickets are also still available for purchase. Becoming a season subscriber to all nine events in the Guest Artist Series will guarantee a choice of seats for the season and can save ticket holders 25 percent with additional invitations to special events.
New, full season subscribers can save 40 percent. A "Choose Your Own" package of three or more Guest Artist Series events can also save audience members 15 percent.
The Guest Artist Series will feature multiple Grammy Award winning artists as well as a world premiere performance. Starting off the 2012-2013 season, Doc Severinsen and the San Miguel Five will perform on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the Helen M. Hosmer Concert Hall at SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music.
The Meet the Arts Series will showcase artists with events for children of any age, beginning with a public performance of Sleeping Beauty on Sunday, Oct. 21 at 3 p.m. in the Sara M. Snell Music Theater.
Public performances of all events are available for individual purchase online or by calling the CPS Box Office. Specific educational outreach performance tickets are also available for purchase for area educators and school groups.
