CANTON -- Amy Ivy will present a free workshop on “Season Extension Technologies” on March 29 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Learning Farm, 2043B State Highway 68.
The workshop will help growers understand and implement season extension practices with a focus on high tunnels, low tunnels, hoops and row covers that allow crops to be cultivated or harvested outside the typical North Country production season.
Ivy is the Executive Director and Extension Horticulture Educator at Cornell Cooperative Extension in Clinton County, and a regular on NCPR’s Monday morning Gardening program.
