CANTON -- A "Scything Skill-Share: Dancing While You Mow" event facilitated by Eddie Goldstein will take place Saturday, Aug. 25, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Canton/Russell area.
The workshop will focus on working with the "European" style scythe and ways to use the tool with the most pleasure and ease.
The organizers, the Local Living Venture/SLP, present year-round skills-building workshops for resourceful living and coordinate the Local Living Festival. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own scythe.
Suggested donation is $15. For location, to register or for suggestions on buying a scythe, contact SustLivingProject@gmail.com or 347-4223.
