CANTON -- The fall series of Clarkson University’s Science Café will wrap up with a discussion entitled “No Pain, No Gain: How Distress Underlies Success.”
Psychology Professor Lisa Legault will discuss factors that promote good self-control, which is integral to success in life. She will discuss the motivational and neurophysiological factors in decision-making and how distress can boost performance.
The discussion will be Nov. 19 in Canton at the Park View Common Room, 107 Main St. and Nov. 20 at the Potsdam Civic Center, 2 Park St., both at 7:15 p.m.
